A timeline of events of an elevated disinfection byproduct (DBP) occurrence is presented, along with source identification, pilot testing, and drought conditions. The outcome indicated that theindustrial facility has installed process equipmentto remove bromide from their wastewaterdischarge; and,BWWSB continues to monitor the Black WarriorRiver at the Mulberry Intake and the wastewatertreatment plant on a daily basis.
