This powerpoint presentation begins by presenting a 4-step plan for optimization of distribution system pressure that includes the following: Complete Performance Data Assessment; Identify Distribution System PerformanceDeficiencies/Constraints; Prepare and Implement Optimization Action Plan; and, Document Effectiveness of Improvements. Presentation conclusions found that: Pressure Management optimization focused on routine pressure monitoring sites and key pressure monitoring sites; least hourly data for a minimum of four days (minimum 96data points for each location; analysis of pressure data should be performed on a monthlybasis, and no less than quarterly for small systems; and, beta testing focused on feasibility, practicality, andusefulness of the self-assessment process.
