This powerpoint presentation begins by presenting a brief overview of California's Proposition 50: Water Security, CleanDrinking Water, Coastal and BeachProtection Act of 2002 (Water Code?79500 et seq.) that was approved by the California electorateon November 5, 2002. Also, Chapter 6: Contaminant and Salt RemovalTechnologies (Water Code ?79545 ) is briefly presented, along with Subpart (b): Pilot and DemonstrationProjects for Contaminant Removal. Funding criteria foreligible categories of contaminants is presented, along with the funding process, submitting proposals, and the key elements of a proposal.
