The Codepresents and describes the methods for determiningheat exchanger performance, for measuring fluidconditions and related phenomena, and for projectingperformance parameters to reference conditions.Performance parameters included are overallheat transfer coefficient, heat transfer rate, and pressuredrop. Guidelines are provided for recommendedinstrumentation and accuracy.
