Specifies general requirements and methods of test for solderless crimped connections made with stranded wires of 0.05 mm(sup)2(/sup) to 10 mm(sup)2(/sup) cross-sectional area or solid wires of 0.25 mm to 3.6 mm diameter and appropriately designed uninsulated or pre-insulated crimp barrels. Information on materials and data from industrial experience is included. Appendix ZZ lists variations for Australian and New Zealand conditions.
