Symbols. The material abbreviation according to ISO 11469 is PEI-GFXX where XX is the percentage of glass fibers.
Applicability. Typical applications include: Temperature sensors, electronic overmolding, and fuel handling.
Remarks. This specification is broken into grades based on percentage of glass fiber reinforcement:
• GF10 - 10% glass fiber reinforcement
• GF20 - 20% glass fiber reinforcement
• GF30 - 30% glass fiber reinforcement
• GF40 - 40% glass fiber reinforcement
