1. SCOPE

This specification defines the performance requirements for exterior, high visibility elastomeric paint systems. The paint systems defined by this specification are identifed by the suffixes D1 through D9. They are defined as follows: ESB-M2P105-D1 Describes a fully painted part finish which provides good initial appearance, color match and durability. This system is specified for parts which have Flexural Modulus values of 1250 MPa or less. This specification is a companion to ESB-M2P4-D1. ESB-M2P105-D2 Describes, a fully painted part finish which provides good initial appearance, color match and durability. This system is specified for parts which have Flexural Modulus values of 1251 MPa or higher. This specification is a companion to ESHB-M2P4-D1.
