Full Description

This article discusses a revised public notification regulation that was publishedby the US Environmental Protection Agency on May 4, 2000. The final rule streamlines the requirements in the regulation to more effectively meet the objectives of the public notification process. An entirely new Code of Federal Regulations subpart is created which incorporates the new provisions of the Safe Drinking Water Act as amended in 1996.
