Observed challenges to chloramine conversion include:Nitrification;chloramine residualdissipation;HPC increased byorders of magnitude;increased flushing;decrease in Legionella and increase in Mycobacteriapopulation densities; and, taste and odor complaints. Capital costs and operation and maintenance costs are presented. Includes figures.
