This powerpoint presentation begins by introducing the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) Arsenic Demonstration Program that included three sets of demonstration projects, and focused on commercially readytechnologies or engineering approaches. The arsenic removal technologies used in the study are listed, along with a breakdown of adsorptive media and cost.Results of performance of adsorptive media systems are presented and summarized as follows: adsorptive media can remove arsenic fromdrinking water, but the capacity of themedia varies with a number of factorsincluding the type of media, water quality,and system design and operation.
