This powerpoint presentation begins by stating the need for water conservation training andcertification, and presents the Pacific Northwest Section (PNWS)-AWWA Water ConservationCertification Administration program that aligns with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA)WaterSense certification specifications, including: a partnership with an education agency ie.Community College;experiential requirement;proctored testing and test security protocol;two-year update cycle for test questions; and,CEU requirement for renewal. Certification training and workshop are presented, along with a partnership with Lane Community College, called the WaterConservation Technician Program, that offers a distance learning opportunity.
