Full Description

The objective of this paper is to report the experimental local heat transfer and pressure drop results for forced convection condensation of R12 condensing inside a horizontal tube. For these experiments, the vapor velocity was sufficiently high to insure that an annular flow pattern existed throughout the entire length of the test condenser. A semi-emperical correlation, for predicting local values of Nusselt numbers is recommended.
