Noise from air-conditioning equipment, whether the source is specificallynamed or not, is restricted by most community noise legislation and also bycomprehensive building codes. This paper looks at various kinds of noise ordinance regulations, the kinds of noise that air-conditioning equipment generates and the importance of proper installation of equipment.
