Full Description

Three highly instrumented townhouses from the Twin Rivers, New Jersey project have been modeled, and the predicted energy consumption is compared to the measured energy use. The computer s~mulation accurately predicts and tracks the hourly and daily thermal behavior of the occupied buildings. The GLAS system, based on interactive computer graphics input techniques and operational on a mini-computer, was used for the analysis.
