2593 -- Sizing an Air-Cleaning System
Conference Proceeding by ASHRAE, 1980
L.C. Rodgers
In stock
A method is presented for determining the size of an air cleaning system required to maintain a specified air quality level. The method is based on experimental procedures conducted on site. Analysis is presented for determining the rate at which contaminants are being emitted into the space. This is a primary consideration in sizing an air cleaning system. The method also determines the existing ventilation effects for the building. In addition, specifying allowable contaminant concentrations is discussed.
