Full Description

Heat and mass transfer coefficients are experimentally obtained for the evaporative cooling process through various thicknesses of aspen pads. These data are nondimensionalized and curve fitted to yield a set of working equations . A method of sizing evaporative coolers using the derived equations is presented.
