Refers to the ASHRAE Research Project 530-RP with the objective of preparing an annotated guide to 652 references containing mathematical models and computer algorithms for calculating the energy performance of HVAC equipment. States the literature reviewed consists mostly of the most current information available in North America and Europe. The guide is aimed primarily at practising engineers who wish to develop their own simulation programs for analysing the energy use of HVAC equipment in buildings. Provides an overview of the guide, which has yet to be issued.
