Presents a simplified methodology to provide design engineers, consulting engineers and HVAC students with a tool to assess indoor air flow patterns, indoor air quality and draught risk without performing a costly experiment or running an expensive and complicated flow field simulation code. Describes an air flow pattern database which has been set up for this purpose. Outlines the structure of the database. Discusses general rules for interpolating the results from the database to a specific case.
