Addendum 62u. This addendum adds requirementsrelated to the control of ventilation systems. An improperlycontrolled system is unlikely to deliver ventilation air atdesign minimum levels. This addendum does not coveroptional demand-controlled ventilation requirements. Itspecifically addresses VAV system controls for outdoor airintake airflow. The intake control requirements recognizethat at low supply volumes sufficient outdoor airflow maynot be maintained if a fixed outdoor air intake damper positionis used. In many cases, an active outdoor air controlsystem must be provided to ensure minimum intake ratesare maintained.
