This DVD describes the founding of ASHRAE's predecessor societies, the American Society of Heating and Ventilating Engineers and The American Society of Refrigerating Engineers, in 1894 and 1904, respectively. The issues of the time, the technological challenges and the people involved are described in a story format befitting of the time.
