Full Description

This addendum converts requirements related to outdoorair intake location and intake protection into mandatory andenforceable language. Because outdoor contaminant sourcescan lead to unacceptable indoor air quality, this addendumadds requirements for minimum separation distances betweencommon outdoor sources and outdoor air intakes. Also,because liquid water in the air distribution system can lead tomicrobial growth, this addendum includes requirementsintended to limit the intrusion and entrainment of precipitation.To prevent contaminant related to bird nesting, thisaddendum requires bird screening and prohibits ledges at theoutdoor air intake.
