Recent regulations phasing out R-22 have changed the landscape of the HVACR field with respect to appropriate R-22 replacements refrigerants. Unfortunately, there is not a direct replacement for R-22 and the industry realizing that refrigerant blends must be utilized. These blends, when used as drop-in or near drop-in, exhibit a temperature glide that makes charging and servicing more challenging.
