As cars are parked within an underground parking structure, Carbon Monoxide (CO) and other exhaust fumes are emitted into the atmosphere. There is a need for an efficient ventilation system that can remove these toxins, circulate fresh air, and assist fire fighters in case of an emergency. There are two options for this task: ducted or ductless ventilation.
Ducted ventilation is heavily used in the US and other global markets. While this has been the standard for many years, innovations in the field of ventilation have shifted the conventional ventilation system towards ductless designs. Ductless designs use jet fans to dilute and remove contaminants and control the smoke. These systems provide greater control at a fraction of the cost of traditional ducted systems.
