Asconsumer and regulatory demand for higher levels of energy efficiency andperformance from refrigeration and air conditioning systems has increased, thethermostatic expansion valve (TXV) has become the most commonly used throttlingdevice today and has undergone a significant evolution since its introduction.The article also explores TXV performance compared to other throttling devices.
